WSL organized a Retail Safari® to help the new retail media team understand how to work together to engage and add value for shoppers in new, differentiated ways to drive sales and trust.
WSL Process
WSL planned and facilitated a day-long Retail Safari® and workshop in Boston for 40 colleagues.
Shopper Insights: WSL kicked off the day with its latest How America Shop® insights about how [Retail Pharmacy Chain] shoppers are engaging in the use of media and digital tools to solve issues, inspire engagement, and build trust.
Retail Immersion: Pre-selected teams visited stores and other inspirational spaces, using a specially develop Retail Safari® map. WSL facilitated discussion and identify unique opportunities.
SNAP debrief and work session: At the conclusion we facilitated a session to share the learnings together, build out ideas, and identify next steps.
Recommendations: WSL provided a summary deck capturing the output of the day, including photos, follow-ups to questions raised, and recommendations for next steps.
Impact
The Retail Safari® helped spark collaboration with the new organization and inspired innovative ideas to be considered as part of its new retail media strategy.
The team was later trained to leverage WSL’s How America Shop® insights to better understand [Retail Pharmacy Chain] shoppers’ attitudes and behaviors in order to create highly engaging campaigns that drive sales for both the retailer and brand partners.
